In order to connect with women, particularly homemakers, and inform them of the women-focused programs and initiatives implemented by the Arvind Kejriwal administration, the party reportedly sent out a team consisting of two to four members at each mandal, ward, and booth level.
“Previously, we would draw attention to programs like free bus rides, child care, electricity, and the government’s intention to provide every (qualified) woman with Rs 1,000 as part of the Mahila Samman Yojana. However, our teams also inform women about how Bhabhi (Sunita Kejriwal) is keeping the party together after the Chief Minister’s detention,” a women’s wing leader stated.
As the party’s main campaigner who will be attending rallies and sabhas, another party leader stated that Sunita is being promoted with the intention of winning over people and gaining public favor.
20,000 meetings have taken place in slums, unapproved colonies, and residential areas of the four Lok Sabha constituencies that the AAP is running for: East, South, West, and New Delhi, according to Sarika Chaudhary, president of the party’s women’s section. By the end of April, she stated, 45,000 meetings are to be held.
“Meetings decreased over the festival season, but we hope to reach our goal of 4,000–4,500 meetings every day in the coming days. Because of security concerns, it is challenging to reach out to women in wealthy neighborhoods, but many sessions are being attended by women living in slums and unapproved colonies, the speaker stated.
