President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Ayodhya on Wednesday to pay respect at the Slam Sanctuary.
“President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Ayodhya. Representative of Uttar Pradesh Smt Anandiben Patel got the President at Maharishi Valmiki Universal Airport,” the official handle of the President of India said in a post on X.
A picture of the president with the senator was also shared beside the post.
According to an articulation issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday, the president will have “darshan” and take part in the “aarti” at the Shri Hanuman Garhi Sanctuary, Prabhu Shri Smash Sanctuary, and Kuber Teela.
She will also perform the Sarayu puja and “aarti,” the explanation said.
Usually, Murmu’s visit begins with a visit to the newly built sanctuary, the sanctification ceremony for which was held on January 22.
